Professor in the Department of Electrical Energy and Automation Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. Coordinator of GEPEA USP-the PEA EPUSP Energy Group-and director of CISTEM-the Center for Innovation and Solutions for Energy Transition in Municipalities. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Energy and Automation Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1997), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2000), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2004). He conducts research in the field of Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on Energy Planning and Energy Management, focusing primarily on the following topics: solar energy, energy planning, electrical energy, integrated resource planning, sustainable development, and energy management. Vice Chair of the Southern Section of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES).
