Rubens Brandt is the founder and CEO of Grupo Energia.
He has a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Polytechnic School of USP, a post-graduate MBA in Business Administration from the Dom Cabral Foundation and more than 25 years' experience in the electricity sector, working in technical and executive positions in international companies such as ABB and Alstom Power, in Brazil, France and Sweden.
He founded Grupo Energia 20 years ago, which has become an important player in the energy market on the fronts of Owner's Engineering, DueDiligence, EPCM, Basic & Executive Projects, Feasibility Studies and New Business Development. The company has earned a prominent place in the market by participating in more than 1200 projects on 5 continents, totaling 180GW of installed power in projects of different levels of complexity, generating sources, storage and distribution.
