Jobson Modena

Jobson Modena, Electrical Engineer and Director of GUISMO Engenharia, is a prominent professional in the field of lightning protection. He is a member of the Brazilian Committee for Electricity at ABNT and coordinates the Study Commission responsible for revising the ABNT NBR 5419 standard. He represents Brazil on the international IEC TC-81 committee (Lightning Protection).
Jobson is an official ABNT instructor and a postgraduate professor at several renowned institutions, such as Instituto MAUÁ, UNIPOTÊNCIA, IPOG, FACENS, and UNIP. He actively participates as a speaker at technical events such as ICLP, SIPDA, GROUND, and ILPS.
He is the author of the Manual for the Use of SPDs and co-author of the revised 5th edition of the classic Electrical Installations by Ademaro Cotrim. He also works as a technical consultant for companies, focusing on process standardization and the implementation of electrical safety measures against lightning.
