Post Show Report The smarter E South America 2025

The smarter E South America 2025 took place at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo and gathered 600 exhibitors and more than 55,000 visitors.

After years of exponential growth, Brazil’s renewable energy market is maturing and adapting to global developments. This evolution was reflected at The smarter E South America 2025, with exhibitors and visitors engaging deeply in a more focused, high-quality experience.

Over 55,000 visitors joined The smarter E South America 2025, sharing outstanding satisfaction and a strong desire to return. The event earned top marks both professionally and personally, with attendees coming to connect, explore the latest innovations, and gain valuable industry insights. Networking, business opportunities, and staying ahead of market trends were at the heart of the experience.

A total of 600 exhibitors showcased their solutions across the event. Intersolar South America featured 400 providers of solar PV and ST products, ees South America and Eletrotec+EM-Power South America each hosted 90 providers—focused on energy storage and electrical infrastructure & energy management solutions, respectively—and Power2Drive South America welcomed 50 e-mobility providers. Despite a more challenging market, exhibitors rated their participation very positively, particularly in achieving their goals, and expressed a strong intention to secure booth space at future editions.

“Mi Omega has been present at the trade show since 2003, even before it became Intersolar. Each year, the event continues to exceed our expectations as it grows in scale and relevance. The electrical installation industry is increasingly converging with solar generation, particularly in substations for photovoltaic plants and in infrastructure for electric vehicle charging. As a result, infrastructure has moved to the forefront, driven by the pressure created by the rapid expansion of new photovoltaic installations."
João Neto, Commercial Manager at Mi Omega

"Visitor numbers on the first day were around 30% higher than we had anticipated. We closed a substantial number of deals, particularly in BESS, which involves large-scale battery energy storage projects. Last year, our booth was also consistently busy, reflecting sustained interest in hybrid photovoltaic systems, as people look to deepen their expertise and position themselves in this evolving market."
Dieny Melo, Sales Manager at Solax

"We first exhibited in 2021, and it has been very rewarding to see the electric mobility sector grow year on year. The quality of the contacts we make continues to rise, delivering increasing strategic value. Understanding of the market has deepened significantly, with its short- and medium-term impact now widely recognised. This is evident in the electric mobility pavilion, which has been consistently busy and well populated with exhibitors. Throughout the trade show, we have also seen a growing presence of solar energy companies alongside charging solution providers and electric vehicles on display, creating a dynamic environment and generating strong interest among visitors. We will certainly be back next year."
Rafael Cunha, COO and Co-Founder of Move

"Média Tensão delivers infrastructure solutions for distributed generation connections. We are at the trade show to showcase our portfolio and to build partnerships with EPC contractors, installers and plant investors. Our expectations for the third and final day are high, with strong attendance anticipated while maintaining the same high technical level."
Luciano Camargo, Commercial Manager at Média Tensão

"This is our first year with a dedicated booth, and activity has been strong across all three days, with sustained interest and a high number of deals closed. Our expectations were high since the previous edition, where we had a much smaller presence but generated a significant volume of contacts and leads, many of which have converted into ongoing business. This year, we have exceeded those expectations by a wide margin in terms of leads, sales and networking. We fully expect to return next year with a larger booth, introducing new, high-quality products and continuing to support the development and growth of the electric mobility market."
Lucas Borquezan, Marketing Manager at Riseon
