João G. Cunha is an Electrical Engineer from the Federal University of Uberlândia and a master in Electronic Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology. He founded Mi Omega in 1993, and has spearheaded the company's technical solutions since then. He has been on the ABNT committee in charge of revising the NBR 5410 standard on low voltage electrical installations since 1993; has coordinated the ABNT committee working on the NBR 14039 standard on medium voltage electrical installations since 2003; and was a member of the committee working on the NBR 16384 on electrical safety in 2020. He currently also teaches courses at the Mi Omega Institute.
