Erika Esteves Lasmar holds a master's degree and is currently pursuing a doctorate in georeferencing as a tool for fire risk analysis in built cultural heritage at UFMG. She holds a degree in industrial electrical engineering. She is currently the director of Esteves Lasmar Projetos e Consultoria Ltda, where she works on projects involving electrical installations, lightning protection systems (SPDA), structured cabling networks, and related systems for industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. She specializes in electrical projects for protected cultural heritage sites. She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Building Installations Engineering (ABRASIP/MG) and the Minas Gerais Association of Fire Engineering (AMEI MG). Co-founder and current Director of Operations of the Engineers' Cooperative - Engecoop. She serves as an electrical engineering advisor at CREA-MG. Co-founder of the FLAMA Institute, focused on the study of natural disasters and fires. Member of the IGNIS research group at UFMG.
