Hélio E. Sueta holds a master's degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from EPUSP. He served as Director of the Power Division of the Institute of Energy and Environment at USP from 2001 to 2011. Currently, he is leading as Deputy Head of the Scientific Division of Energy Planning, Analysis and Development of the same Institute. His expertise is also recognized in international spheres: he serves as secretary of EC 64.10, focused on Lightning Protection, and represents Brazil in IEC TC 81.
